- 8 years as a Mental Health Therapist in a variety of settings
- Adjunct faculty member for Portland State University, Bellevue University, and Drake University
- 2004 President for the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) – Cascadia Chapter; Board member with Oregon Organization Development Network for 10 years

I enjoy sailing, hiking, biking, spending time with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and baby granddaughter!
